This is a painting I have been working on for a few weeks now. I used gouache which is a medium I have never used before so it was a fun challenge to experiment with the medium. I don’t usually do much scenery so I tried new techniques for painting things such as the clouds and simplifying certain things and tried different colour, making neutral earthy tones.

I think this turned out successfully. I will try to do more gouache and scenery in the future.
